ABOUT ARTIST
Through NEO ILLUSION, one of Dongbei’s most active party crews, and NEO ILLUSION RADIO, he has created vital platforms for regional talent, spotlighting the underrepresented sound and culture of Northeast China while connecting it to global audiences.
His sets have been broadcast in China and abroad, including a filmed B2B with London-based Princess Xixi at Dalian’s Peephole, later aired on Voices Radio, as well as regular features on Hotcue’s HKCR residency. He has performed at leading venues nationwide—Oil (Shenzhen), EXIT (Shanghai), Axis (Chengdu), Gum (Guangzhou), Hum (Guiyang), JAR (Xi’an), HOW (Shanghai), GIFT SPACE (Dalian), Xianjing (Shenyang), Knock & Knock (Changchun)—and supported artists such as Miss Jay, STATE OFFF, LAVBLAST, Princess Xixi, Cosmic Caz, CTAFAD, Dirty K, zzm, and GUAN.
Following his 2025 tour, NEO-Volt deepened his approach to the dancefloor: his marathon sets stretch beyond two hours, rising from 80BPM reggaeton to 140BPM club/bass, often incorporating distinctively Dongbei elements like 喊麦 (Hanmai), Disco, and Tuhai. In doing so, he carries regional culture into new contexts and continues to play a key role in revitalising Northeast China’s underground scene.
